FRESH URBAN LIVING - OUR BATH DESIGNS

Our clients wanted their new bathroom remodel to reflect their casual yet sophisticated style. They wished for a space that was brighter and more stylish than their current dated bath. It was to be a spa-like retreat with a luxurious feel while still being comfortable and functional for their young family.

A light neutral color palette was selected for the space. The clients wished to use all natural materials. We chose a mix of Sea Pearl, Cararra, and Thassos marble tiles to give that luxury spa vibe. So that the room didn’t feel too cold we used a rich warm walnut cabinetry for the vanity and selected gold toned plumbing and lighting fixtures. Natural straw accessories also add warmth and texture.

The old tub was a dated drop-in “garden tub” that took up too much floor space and made it challenging to reach the bathroom’s windows. We replaced it with a modern free standing tub and added mosaic marble tile to the wall behind. The toilet, which was once front and center when entering the room, was relocated around a corner. The previous shower was closed off and felt small and dark inside. We enlarged that shower and opened up the wall with frameless glass that abuts the vanity with a waterfall countertop. Dual shower heads, rain head, handheld spray, and shave shelf were a must in the shower. The clients needed more storage than the vanity would offer alone, so a tall cabinet piece was added with glass doors and accent lighting. Now the homeowners have a retreat that is functional and fits their personal style.
